How to prevent moisture from clothing during rainy season

1. Cotton and linen clothing: When storing, clothes must be washed, dried, and folded flat. Wardrobe, cabinet, and polyethylene packaging bags must be kept clean and dry to prevent mold. It is best to separate white clothing from dark clothing when stored to prevent staining or yellowing.

2. Silk clothing: When collecting, in order to prevent moisture and dust, you must cover a layer of cotton cloth on the surface of the clothing or wrap the silk clothing. White clothes cannot be placed in camphor wood boxes, nor can they be placed in mothballs, otherwise they will easily turn yellow.

3. Chemical fiber clothing: Artificial fiber clothing should be laid flat and not hung for a long time to avoid stretching due to hanging. When storing blended fabrics containing natural fibers, you can put a small amount of mothballs or insect-removing agents, but do not touch them; for polyester, nylon and other synthetic fibers, you do not need to put mothballs, and you must not put hygienic balls to avoid damage to the clothing and fabrics in the dinaphthol.

4. Woolen Clothing: After wearing various woolen clothing for a period of time, it must be dried and patted to remove dust. Place it in a dry place when not worn. It is advisable to hang and store the fabric, and turn the back of the fabric outward to prevent fading and weathering. Before storing, it should be cleaned or washed, ironed, dried, and ventilated for one day. For high-end wool wool clothing, it is best to hang it in the closet and not press it down to avoid deformation and affecting the appearance. When storing full-wool or blended clothing, wrap the mothballs in thin paper and put them in the pocket of the clothes or in the closet or box. Plush clothing should be stored separately from other clothing to avoid falling off the fleece and blemishing other clothing.

When traveling, I accidentally wet my clothes. How can I dry them quickly?

1. Put the washed clothes on the dry towel. Then, I rolled up the clothes and towels with a little force, and used the dry towels to absorb moisture from the clothes.

2. If you are in a hurry to wear it, put the rolled clothes into a paper bag and blow the hair dryer directly into the bag (remember to tighten the mouth of the bag to prevent the hot air from dissipating). Because the hot air blows directly into the bag, it seems to be a small dryer, which can accelerate the drying of clothes.

Reminder: Choose paper bags, not plastic bags, because paper bags can dissipate the moisture generated during blowing. If you really don’t have a paper bag, just use a thicker plastic bag. Don’t forget to break a small hole in your feet to serve as the outlet for water vapor.
