The most important and natural way for us to take vitamin D in humans is to sunlight. The ultraviolet light in the sun will transform the 7-dehydrocolesterol in our skin into Pre-vitamin D. Then, the temperature of the sun will further transform "Previous Vitamin D" into Vitamin D. This vitamin D has no physiological effect, so it is called "Inactive Vitamin D".

Another way for us to take vitamin D in humans is to eat certain types of foods, such as fish, eggs, and mushrooms. The vitamin D in these foods is also "Inactive Vitamin D".

Whether it is sunlight or vitamin D taken from food, it will be transformed into Calcifediol (calcitriol) in the liver, and then further transformed into Calcitriol (calcitriol) in the kidney. This calcitriol has physiological effects, such as increasing the ability of the kidney to absorb calcinia, so it is called "Active Vitamine D".

Calcitriol is an anti-preventive medicine used to prevent and treat certain parathyroid glands and kidney diseases. In other words, calcitriol is not a supplement or health supplement. Also, the manufacturing process and production cost of calcitriol are more difficult and higher than that of vitamin D, so the price is of course more expensive. Therefore, it is almost impossible for ordinary people to "Buy" to "Active Vitamin D".

It is 100% certain that all "Vitamin D Replenishment Clinical Trials" are made with "Inactive Vitamin D". So, when I published an article saying that "Vitamin D" was invalid, I mean "Inactive Vitamin D", which is the vitamin D that ordinary people eat.

There are several doctors in Taiwan who strongly advocate taking vitamin D supplements, and they always love to use the tricks of "Active" and "Inactive" to recommend the invalidity of vitamin D. They will say it's not that vitamin D is invalid, but that you're eating something wrong.

However, I can guarantee you that you never missed it, but because Vitamin D supplements are really invalid.

This article was published on July 23, 2020 in the world's No. 1 New England Medical Journal, titled Vitamin D Supplements for Prevention of Tuberculosis Infection and Disease.
